Overview

Your catalog drives every sale, report, and stock movement. This walkthrough takes you through adding products, variants, units, and tax — the right way, so you don't have to redo it later.

Steps to follow

   Step 1

   Create product categories

   Group products into categories (e.g. Beverages, Bakery, Apparel). Categories control how items appear on the POS and in reports.

   Step 2

   Add your first product

   Set the name, SKU, price, and tax. Upload an image so cashiers can recognize it instantly.

   Step 3

   Configure variants and modifiers

   For products with sizes, colors, or add-ons, create variants or modifier groups so the POS prompts the cashier at sale time.

   Step 4

   Set stock and reorder points

   Enter opening stock per outlet and the reorder threshold. PosBytz will alert you before you run out.
