The problem

The counter queue is where you lose customers

  • Long lines at peak hours.

Guests see a queue at the door and walk to the next outlet.

  • Cashiers stuck taking orders.

Your team spends the rush keying orders instead of serving and packing food.

  • Orders get misheard.

“No onions, extra cheese” shouted across a busy counter becomes a remade burger.

  • Payment slows everything down.

Every guest waits for the one person running the till.

Why switch

Why restaurants add a self service kiosk

  • Shorter queues at peak

Guests order on their own, so several people can order at once instead of one at the till.

  • Orders go straight into your POS

Kiosk orders arrive in PosBytz with a sound alert, with no re-typing.

  • Guests pay at the kiosk

Integrated online payment clears the bill before the order reaches the kitchen.

How it works

How the PosBytz self ordering kiosk works

  1. Generate a kiosk link.

In POS Admin, go to Locations and generate a kiosk link for the outlet. Open it on the kiosk screen.

  2. Guest browses and builds the order.

The full menu shows on screen, with modifiers and combo options.

  3. Guest pays at the kiosk.

Integrated online payment completes the order without the till.

  4. Order arrives in the POS.

It lands in the Online Order tab with a notification sound, and staff accept it to start preparation.

  5. Order completed.

When the food is ready, staff mark it complete and hand it over.

Features

Self ordering kiosk features for faster service

Set up a kiosk in minutes

Kiosk built into PosBytz POS

The kiosk is part of PosBytz, not a separate product. Menus, prices and items come from the same POS you already manage.

One kiosk link per location

Generate a kiosk link for each outlet from POS Admin. Every order is tagged to the right location automatically, which matters for chains and food courts.

Kiosk and QR code from the same link

Each kiosk link can also be downloaded as a QR code. Guests can order on the kiosk screen or scan the code and order on their own phone when the kiosk is busy.

Let guests order their way

Full menu on screen

Guests browse every category at their own pace instead of reading an overhead board from the back of a queue.

Modifiers and combos

Guests add extras, remove ingredients and pick combo options themselves. What they choose is exactly what gets billed and prepared.

Contactless, frictionless ordering

Guests order without speaking to anyone or waiting for a cashier. The whole order is placed in a few taps.

Connect the kiosk to your counter and kitchen

Kiosk orders straight into the POS

Kiosk orders arrive in the POS Online Order tab, alongside your other digital orders. No one re-keys an order.

Sound alerts for new orders

A notification sound plays as each kiosk order arrives, so no order sits unnoticed during a rush.

Accept and complete in the POS

Staff accept each order to start preparation and mark it complete when it's ready. Everyone can see where an order stands.

Take payment without the till

Integrated online payment

Guests pay at the kiosk as part of placing the order. Your till stays free for guests who prefer the counter.

Kiosk sales in your reports

Kiosk orders flow into the same billing and reports as counter and online sales, so you can compare channels in one place.
